The rich design influence of Portugal’s colonial era is a favorite subject of ours. To this day, Brazil’s bustling cities represents some of Portugal’s most prolific architects and designers who made the harrowing  trip across the Atlantic some 400 years ago. The Lisbon chair pays homage to this era.
 
Mounted on a mortised & tenoned frame, we've done away with all the hand-toling to give a much cleaner look and feel to this classic. The weightiness of the solid wood frame exemplifies both elegance and strength. The chair also features hand applied coin details and rich patina finish.
